Our Unique Offerings

Candle and dried flowers in a modern vase.

Why one-off objects?

Modern home décor is often designed to be safe, repeatable, and identical - the same shapes, the same styles, everywhere.

MADEONCE exists as an antidote to mass production.

Our products are about imperfection, and small moments of interest in everyday spaces.

No two are the same, because they’re not meant to be.

Begin with the vision – understand what resonates and create it beautifully.

All at a price-point accessible to everyone.

The Philosophy

Most pieces start as an experiment. I’ll tweak a setting, push a pattern, or try a combination I haven’t used before and see what comes out the other side. Coming from photography, I learned early on that people respond very differently to things,  something one person loves might do nothing for someone else, and something others dislike can be exactly what someone else connects with. That difference is part of being human, and I’m happy to let it show in the work.

Living in the Cotswolds and spending a lot of time travelling both feed into how things turn out. You pick things up without really trying; textures, colours, shapes, details from old buildings, landscapes, cities, and places that feel very different from one another. Some of that finds its way into the designs, even when the starting point is something technical.

The Creative Process

Each piece is made once, finished, and then moved on from. There’s no optimisation pass and no second run, even if something turns out particularly well. Some designs will click, some will give you the ick, and that’s fine. Nothing is thrown away and there are no mistakes, just lessons that feed into the next idea.

Everything is made using modern, low-waste production methods and biodegradable PLA, a plant-based material made from renewable sources rather than fossil fuels. It allows for a lot of freedom to experiment while keeping waste down and avoiding over-production.
